Mural for STRAAT: Amsterdam’s Graffiti and Street Art Museum. ‘El Inicio’ is a retrospective piece focused on what brought me to where I am today: When I first started painting and had a massive leap of faith to become a full-time artist, it was clear that the reason behind doing this was to find and ultimately save myself after being lost for years and years. This piece resembles some of my earliest paintings, the surroundings that inspired me back then. El inicio is a reminder to always tap into that motivation for being free, to that unapologetic self-expression that made Hola Lou exist.
