Mexico City HQ: Mural wrapping the lobby entrance area. For this project, we also worked on a set of decorative rugs for different listening rooms and other interior spaces. The color palette matches the brand’s architecture for this office space, a resemblance to Mexico’s culture and vibrant vibe.

Domestika
My first Domestika course is out! Here, you’ll be able to learn some basics of graphic abstraction, color and shape composition parting from objects, scenes and details from our day-to-day life. I also share some insights about some of my favorite sources of inspiration, some books and music I’ve been listening to and some recommendations on how to find your own style and polish it with time.
The Jaunt: Colombia
A trip to Colombia with The Jaunt: Bogotá and Andes mountain range to get inspiration. Used the colors of the bits and pieces I explored here, the outcome is a series of fine Prints that resemble an abstraction of this places music, people, food, vibe in general.

LinkedIn finally opened their HQ offices in Mexico City and to celebrate that, their Design&Build department invited 4 Mexican artists to intervene in their walls.
With a roaster of some of Mexico’s best contemporary artist including It’saliving, SmitheOne, Ricardo Luévanos and Hola Lou, we were commissioned by Empire7Studios and San José Walls (formerly Pow Wow San José) to add big scale original artworks that represented the essence of México and some of its most iconic cities. I got Taxco and Palenque for my walls, where I included their most representative colors, the architectonic sites, the weather conditions and more into an extremely minimal, abstract set of pieces.
Alltrue: Fall artist in residence.
Subscription box and print for Alltrue’s fall 2021 artist in residence. Commemorating this year’s autumn colors and new brand name, I was able to collaborate with this great team of people from Los Angeles, CA. Together, we created a seamless design that brings earthy tones and subtle purples and blue hues to an abstract, minimal and refined pattern on the inside and outside of this box. Every subscription box contains a limited edition print/postcard by Lou as well.
Spotify for Latinx Heritage Month
In commemoration of 2020’s Latinx Heritage Month, I was commissioned by Spotify USA to design 3 different artworks for the campaign. I was assigned to illustrate in a colorful and radiant way my take on Dance & Movement + Rock (Latin) as genres, as well as one for ‘California Love’ Podcast by Walter Thompson-Hernandez.
Complex & Samsung Galaxy
For the latest campaign of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung with the help of Complex Luxe commissioned me to create a piece from scratch using all of the useful tools that this phone brings to creators like us. Better yet and to bring the impact of this creations even higher, the final works were auctioned by world-famous Sotheby’s auction house with full proceeds going to charity.
Hola Lou x El Rayo Tequila
A celebration of authentic Mexican roots from the perspective of a modern generation of creators. Through a series of 3 exclusive prints, in collaboration with UK’s El Rayo Tequila and I dug up some of the highlights from my country that make up for what El Rayo truly stands for.

For their second issue, Lindsay Magazine commissioned me to paint 5 Original Pieces to be featured on this printed mag. The cover showcases famous Ryuichi Sakamoto and the 5 paintings were carefully selected to communicate the feeling behind the flora of México.

A Collaboration with renowned beer brand Stella Artois for their appearance in Mexico City’s annual event Abierto Mexicano De Diseño, a design festival. In 2019, with the help from Gran Salón México, I was invited to host along with 4 other Mexican women illustrators a talk about what it means to be a woman in art.
